J.K Rowling's take on Crime

Many prominent and well famed authors round the globe may find it very hard to gauge the performance of their new written works given that the success is often driven by their previous experiences in the industry. In these circumstances it becomes very common for renowned authors like J.K Rowling herself to write under the secret name. Most of the time, these authors find it very hard to keep their works secret. One way or another their secret identity is revealed at some point in time.

J.K Rowling wrote a crime novel named ''The Cuckoo's Calling'' under a pseudonym, she used the secret identity of Robert Galbraith to write the novel. J.K intended to reveal her identity anyways but according to her, she wanted the liberating experience to continue for sometime. its only natural that she is angry with the Legal firm Russels for leaking her identity.

Rumor had it that this event was just part of publicity campaign but Russels had made it clear that it was not, furthermore it stated that no one at Russels, Rowling or her agent were involved in any marketing plan whatsoever. Nonetheless one has to admit that all this did help boost sales for the novel, previously 1,500 copies had been sold to public but as fast as the news got ignited novel's place raised more then 5,000 place within hours at Amazon's sales list.

The experience of writing under a different and unknown name has been too good according to Rowling. First copies that were sold and were signed as Robert Galbraith by Rowling can earn allot of money for these first Fortunate Buyers, Keeping in view that these copies have a bid of over $1000 on eBay dose  look promising to me. The cuckoo's Calling is currently at number 1 place on amazon.com.

Malala Fighting for a Cause: One Girl in Defiance !

One girl standing in defiance against a militant group having significant dominance in terms of physical strength really is something that should be given due credit and appreciation. Taliban made a huge mistake attacking an innocent girl especially the one who quite visibly had the potential to take matters to an international audience, in doing so it seems they made a very huge mistake. Instead of being silenced her voice was amplified a hundred folds, She already was an ambassador but in attacking her Taliban made it sure that she becomes a rallying figure and symbol, a powerful symbol that is already rallying disciples in large numbers as we speak especially after her start of education campaign via UN after she addressed the assembly. No one including herself may have anticipated that she will one day get to take her message of education to a global forum such as UN, have a day declared in her honor and more then 50 million innocent girls round the globe deprived of basic right to education, and having half a million people sign petitions to nominate her for noble peace prize.

Malala Addressing UN
Back in 2008 Swat and adjoining areas became stronghold of Taliban, militants enforced Islamic law in light of their strict interpretations and force girls to stay at home. It was at that time that Malala aged 11 went to Peshawar for an press club event and in front of national press gave a well published and appreciated speech named ''How Dare the Taliban Take Away My Basic Right to Education''.  Late in the same year she started writing blog for BBC Urdu and thus began her path to international fame.

Here in Pakistan environment is always viable for conspiracy theories, and yet another one has been hatched with so much confusions. it just dose not make any sense at all, Taliban themselves headed by Moulana Fazul-ullah claimed the responsibility for the shooting incident. okay Guys just think for a while, how is it plausible to say that CIA is using her ? i mean how will it benefit any country other then our own where half of children population even less than that complete primary education. but then again Conspiracy theories do have potent nurturing grounds here in our beloved country ! our Deeply rooted sense of denying realities makes it hard for us to confront our enemies at home.
It should not be projected as unfair to dub all those who are criticizing this innocent girl as an agent as Pakistani Taliban apologists and more importantly we should not forget that this is little girl we are talking about, we should all bare ourselves from making her a center of political and an ideological debate, all of us should recognize her bravery and appreciate it as has been done by Imran Khan and others round the world.

GLEE: Lost a real talent to Substance abuse !

Cory Moneteith
I always liked watching musicals whether films or TV series, they never get old. Although allot of people dont like musicals especially glee, but still they lack the understanding that music really is what defines us and everything around us. Glee is one such attempt to define what life is via music. Cory Moneteith was part of this series and played his role very well till his death.

He was a Canadian actor and musician who was well known for his role in Glee as Finn Hudson internationally, right from the start he had a very troubled childhood and adolescence involving substance abuse. Cory tried hard at various points in life to get rid of his addiction by entering drug rehabilitation but failed to do so. He had minor roles in series like Stargate Atlantis and Smallville but became famous for his lead role in glee, he was given this role for his audition tape in which he sang ''Cant Fight this Feeling''.  He also worked in films like Monte Carlo and Sisters & Brothers.

According to the British Columbia Coroners Service, an overdose of heroin and alcohol that lead to mixed drug toxicity resulted in Cory's Tragic Death. They also said that right now all the evidence points out that it really was tragic accident and not intentional.

Glee had had allot of amazing moments of Cory as Finn Hudson. Out of all those moments in my opinion the best ones were him and all others singing ''DON'T STOP BELIEVING'', Stay Away from my future wife and Cory and Lea's Convo:

Cory and Lea Michele
- Finn: It's your own star
- Rachel: You named a star after me?
- Finn: No, I thought about that, but then I named it Finn Hudson. Because there's already a star named Rachel Berry. And she's right here on earth, and she's brighter than any of       those stars up there. So I just wanted to make sure that whenever she feels lonely she can look up in the sky, and no matter where I am, she can know that I'm looking down on her."

The Family of Cory along with his girlfriend/co-star in glee Lea Michele are grieving, they have received huge amount of wishes from all round the world. Glee's success really did had allot of contribution from Cory and even though Show executive will find suitable replacement but still Glee will never be the same again!

Don't stop believing is an inspiration song covered by glee more then once, the first time it was covered in first episode and was the real motivation for me to pick up this series to watch.

White House Down Review

Roland Emmerich is commonly known for his action blockbusters like Stargate, Independence day, Godzilla, The Day After Tomorrow and 2012 all having ensemble casts. White House Down another one of Roland's old formula made films has some memorable moments and really is a perfect blockbuster for all those film goers that are interested as a result of nicely put trailer. But other then that it dose not or will not pace up and be comparable to other classics of the genre. It has a straightforward story that is quite focused but it lacks visuals that are usually there in such movies, visuals that are explosive. As compared to Olympus has Fallen, its plot is more of lighter tone and lacks the serious tone that is easily visible in the former.

The movie is not all about politics, its not some drama with political maneuvering but an action film with a good plot and well developed characters. The movie at times focuses upon the modern Geo political happenings, all the effort to center around current issues really makes the movie more feasible for suspense filled twists and turns. Director has tried to sell it the old way well known cast with white house in flames and all that. so all in all the movie is quite appealing if you are action flicks lover.

The story is centered around a US Capitol Police Officer named John cale who is charged with protection of speaker of the House. Cale in hope of winning his daughter named Emily over joins U.S Secret Service and accompanies her to white house for a tour. The tour turns out to be rather unfortunate, a terrorist group lays a well planned siege to the white house that was not anticipated by anyone ! In the process of free President James sawyer from the captivity of terrorists Emily is taken in as hostage by the terrorists. As it happens with all other such movies, it turns out that cale is the only one who stands between the evil force of terrorists and global destruction.

The movie was neither too good nor too bad, the movie really did depend on channing Tatum's talent i.e decent humor with big action. Also Jamie Fox must be given credit, both of these actors were equally entertaining. Jamie really had contribution to all those best moments after all. other then that the supporting roles were also played out well, Jason Clarke, Maggie Gyllenhaal, James woods  and Richard Jenkins all of them gave good performances. Many core scenes in the films also owe their excellence to joey king(a thirteen year old boy) and a daughter(Emily) who was a solid addition.
